I took my Dachshund, Henry to Friendly Vets last Monday as I was extremely concerned about his health. The poor boy was taken into their loving care, and there he stayed for 6 days. The very first night we were expecting a phone call telling us that he hadn’t made it, however the phone call we received the following day told a completely different story. Henry had indeed made it through the night, and although he was still very poorly, he was responding to the treatment he was getting from the aptly named ‘Friendly Vets’, and the wonderful nurses who also spent lots of time with him. I was invited to go and sit with him twice a day, which was a great comfort to both Henry and me, as I could see the improvement in his health on a daily basis. I also got to chat with the actual team who were responsible for his care, and I witnessed first hand the treatment and genuinely loving care he received from everyone who came into contact with him. Finally on Saturday Cheryl said he was well enough to be taken home, and what a difference from the poor little man who Rose had been presented with only 6 days earlier. I definitely know that without the love and dedication given to Henry by EVERYONE at Friendly Vets, from the wonderful people on reception, all the nurses who took such great care of him, especially Holly, and the other nurse who’s name I can’t remember, who’d also had a dachshund, to Rose and the lovely vet who’d sat with Henry on his first night, and a massive ‘thank you’ to Cheryl, who didn’t just discharge Henry from their care, she made sure we had a full care plan in place to aid his continued recovery, emergency numbers just in case, and a follow up plan to enable Cheryl to monitor Henry’s progress remotely, which means we can chat on the telephone about our amazing little boy, rather that having to take him back to the surgery and try to describe how he’s been doing. Seriously, to EVERYONE at FRIENDLY VETS, can I say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for literally saving Henry’s life xxxx

Wonderful friendly veterinary practice with such lovely staff ,Smudge our little Staffordshire bull terrier unfortunately has irritable bowel disease.... Cheryl, Myles and the rest of the lovely team have been treating him for the last 9 and a half years with such care and compassion, smudge has had to undergo other surgeries also in the past ,he gets really anxious but everyone goes out of their way to make him feel relaxed and comfortable . If a problem arises they are always there with help and support ,every member of staff are so supportive and helpful... the communication is fantastic. Just recently Smudge has had a few extra difficulties with his condition and the team have been fantastic,so I wanted to let everyone know what a 5 star veterinary practice this is ....highly highly recommended,I can't thank them enough for everything.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. They looked after my dog extremely well and I cannot fault them at all. With it already being a stressful situation having my dog go under anaesthetic, they put my mind at ease every step of the way and made sure he was cared for and treated accordingly. Thankyou so much !
